Evaluation of Pre-arcing Time-current Characteristic for Current-limiting Type in Stainless Steel Wire Fuse

نویسندگان

چکیده

High voltage cutout fuses have been used in 22 kV distribution systems as primary switching protection devices. We developed a current-limiting fuse with stainless steel wires which is low cost and simple design. It has confirmed that possesses better similar performance characteristics such shorter melting time than JEM rules.

Stainless Steel Type 316Ti

Allegheny Ludlum Type 316Ti (UNS S31635) is a titanium stabilized version of Type 316 molybdenum-bearing austenitic stainless steel. It is also known as DIN/EN designation No. 1.4571. The Type 316 alloys are more resistant to general corrosion and pitting/crevice corrosion than the conventional chromium-nickel austenitic stainless steels such as Type 304. They also offer higher creep, stress-ru...

Stainless steel wire suture technique in thoracic surgery.

Before embarking upon any new surgical procedure or technique three conditions need to be fulfilled. First, it must be shown to be necessary, secondly, there must be sufficient experimental evidence to justify a trial of the new method; and tlhirdly, any advantage the new may appear to have over the old must be shown to possess statistical significance before its final adoption is justified, un...

Characterisation of severely deformed austenitic stainless steel wire

The microstructure of 8 mm diameter wire produced by the severe deformation of 316L austenitic stainless steel has been examined using TEM and X-ray diffraction. The deformation imparted amounts to a true strain of 6.3. Data from previous studies on strain induced transformation of this steel have been combined with new results to show that true strains .2 are required in order to observe mecha...

Mechanical evaluation of quad-helix appliance made of low-nickel stainless steel wire.

OBJECTIVE The objective of this study was to test the hypothesis that there is no difference between stainless steel and low-nickel stainless steel wires as regards mechanical behavior. Force, resilience, and elastic modulus produced by Quad-helix appliances made of 0.032-inch and 0.036-inch wires were evaluated. METHODS Sixty Quad-helix appliances were made, thirty for each type of alloy, be...
